On Feb 9, 2022 the ministry of Education and Sports officially released the results of Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations which were done in 2022. According to the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB), there was improvement in performance compared to the 2020 UCE results. 

St. Francis of Assisi High School was among the best performing schools in Kitagwenda District. Seven students out of the 23 who sat for the exams were in the first division with 21 aggregates being the highest.
