Who we are

A Catholic day & boarding secondary school in Kitagwenda District, where no child is turned away for being poor. St. Francis of Assisi High School-Rwenjaza (SFAR) combines a 30:1 student-to-teacher ratio, fully qualified staff, and hands-on environmental education with a scholarship fund that has helped brilliant students stay in school when their families couldn’t pay. Eight kilometres from Kamwenge town, day and boarding places open every February.

At St. Francis of Assisi High School, Rwenjaza (SFAR), we admit new students joining S.1, S.2, S.3, and S.5. at the start of each academic year.
